That Pesky P-List

Don Stillwaugh from Pinellas County, Florida will discuss how a P-listed waste can significantly impact a facility's generator status, as there are 124 P-listed chemicals. Most of them are rarely encountered by inspectors and have long intimidating chemical names. This webinar will cover the conditions whereby a commercial chemical product may become an acute hazardous waste. It will also cover the industries and facility types where these products are most commonly found. Examples of specific products will also be explored in greater detail.

Don has worked in Pinellas County’s SQG Program for over 14 years and has performed over 4,500 inspections. Prior to that he was a field biologist managing natural areas and studying a wide variety of plants and animals in both Illinois & Florida. He earned both his BS & MS in biology from Northeastern Illinois University. In his spare time, he serves as Treasurer for the non-profit Gopher Tortoise Council.
