Mobile Household Hazardous Waste Program Overview

This webinar provides an overview of The County of Wellington’s Mobile Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot. Since its inception in 2016, this innovative solution to providing HHW disposal for residents has been successful both in terms of increasing accessibility as well as reducing overall program costs. The webinar will include an overview of the day to day operations, the advantages of a mobile program, the population demographics that could benefit from it as well as review some of the challenges faced with this set up.
